Flux – Drawings & Sketches by Tom Rickman

These are pieces, pictures, ideas that are embryonic, abandoned, left open,etc., but they are mainly in process. They are saved for later, or are waiting to be remembered, re animated, set into motion. Whatever they are they are interesting things in their own right. This here is the ingredient pool. Some move on and some stay as is. When is a piece of work ever finished – or maybe more so abandoned? When maybe it is out of reach of the artist hands and continued need to carry on with it. This section is like a part of my studio where things hang about, between the thought of and the real world.
